No, I've thought about it for quite a while. It's one of the main reasons why Insomniac has not received any money from me in years. Techno and Tech House have had little to no representation at Insomniac events until now. There are only rumors about representation at Beyond Wonderland. Everybody who's bought tix to date have assumed a good Trance lineup and a handful of Europop ("house") artists because those are the sounds Insomniac has booked en mass. So now I don't get the opportunity to buy tix at a discounted price because no appealing acts have been announced. Hence my opinion that Insomniac are thieves.
As for Ultra, Electric Zoo, etc, these events have a history of booking a well-rounded lineup. Therefore, it would not be unreasonable to buy tix as soon as they're available under the assumption that artists of all genres will be playing.
