No! I will bristle at you asking me to soften my antagonism and then proceed to make an unflattering comparison between Andy Blueman and the quality of your own work.

I was only familiar with a couple of his tracks, the breakdowns were obviously his focal point, as they were amazing and the rest of the track was.. usual.

Who is he? He is a guy from Slovenia, he posted on TranceFix.nl from time to time, ppl call him Andrej. Good guy.

You can check out his unreleased stuff here:

lulz at the comments

I'm sure he will get more respect in the movie soundtrack realm.

i've always thought that trance isn't Andy Blueman's thing, film and ambient is where he can succeed, a lot of producers should take AB's approach because that kind of trance is absolutely not EDM, how the fuck can you dance to that? But i like this kind of film music a lot, i am a great fan of Andy Blueman and i think i will love his music more without 4/4 kicks.

he is only original with the melodies, melodic wise his tracks are ace but only the breakdowns take a little difference from the rest, the drums at Neverland (Energetic Mix) are amazing though

his melodies arent really original either, they are mostly common classic chord-transitions with a random arp setting. as long as he is having fun i dont want to bash him, i rather bash the people getting impressed by such generic stuff. but enough now people can like whatever they like

If i exclude Airbase i find hard to find someone who makes really impressive melodies on a constant flow nowadays (back in the days the track weren't technically as good but the arrangement and melodic content was always top notch ).

His trance is all about chord progressions but 90% of uplifting trance is this and no one equals to him in this "orchestal trance", there are a lot of copycats of this style, he didn't invent it either, is almost as old as trance itself but this subgenre owes a lot to Andy Blueman
