I met my ex when I was 21, she was 28 at the time. We ended up staying with each other for over two years. It can work! But you have to be honest and up-front. Older girls are not like younger girls, they know what they want, for the most part they are usually independent, emotionally and mentally strong. I like you man. I'm glad you're having a good time with this older chick and you got the butterflies and all that. Just manage your expectations so you don't get disappointed if/when it doesn't work out (because it won't). Don't end up like this guy!

and believe me, i know it doesn't have a chance of working out. i think i have very reasonable expectations. i'm young- i think we could have fun together for some period of time.

it's funny that you mention getting the butterflies, as that's entirely true. it makes me happy - for the past 5 or 6 years i've spent a lot of time involved with girls (which isn't to say that i jump from one girlfriend to the other, or that i can't be alone) but i haven't really felt giddy about something since last august/september/october when i dated a girl who i think will forever rank among the hottest/sexiest/most gorgeous girls i've come to know.

it's new and exciting... and different with this whole age gap thing (I assume). Haha can't wait for the stories after you finally beat it up.
