Hahaha I'm sure Traz was not being serious but one person reads this ... gets offended ... responds ... escalates. It's like the cold war all over again. Really, the post is about liking canada. Not why canada is better than the US or why the US is better than canada. If you want to incite something start another thread entitled why canada is better than the US. Anyway as to whoever asked me why I liked the peel pub in toronto so much ... well where else can you get 172 oz. pitchers of good beer as cheaply anywhere else in the world? Additionally I've never had bouncers escort me so politely out of the bar after failing to make it all the way to the bathroom in time ... dammit i was halfway there. And yes I'm a serious beer drinker and I drank at smokeless joe's (something like that) with a trillion different beers but come on, 172 oz. pitchers!!! HOW can you comopete with that??????? Also the Keg is def one of the top 10 restaurants I've eaten at.
I liked Canada a lot from personal experience. Now if you're going to talk trash about living in the US or the US in general at least get some first hand EXPERIENCE of the US before you blow shit out of your ass.

Oh btw ... I would have to say canadian beer in general is much better than US beer. I like a nice dark beer. There are too many preppy, frat guys in the US that drink coors lite or budweiser and think they are "beer drinkers". Give me a nice German or Belgium beer any day of the week.

yes, but the reason i brought up that this wasnt a completely innocent thread in relation to america bashing, was because this was started very shortly (and very deliberately) after the "why everyone hates america" thread... (this one being titled "why everyone loves canada".
oh, and i get to go to japan now... so i will be flying from the airport of vancouver... thank you IACE branch of canada for giving me such cheap tickets!!!
(ha.. now i just have to find a way back from teh airport when i get back :/)

you realize that 80% of canadians live 30 miles from a major city. You also must realize that Canada's NOrth is a very unhospitable climate where it is very very cold year round.
