damn wtf .Dj Tiesto played 1 new tune and when heard live it rocks. What does not rock is the remixes made. The original will make clubs boom untill next year and when everyone in trance knows that song it won't last caue that song won't go commercial like durade-sandstorm. There are certain songs that only trance people know and flight-643 is one of them. It will be on how the trance poplulation not anyone else decides. My opinion personally. First time listening to the track to the 30th time was good but 30th time to the 60th time well did not like it that much. Now its getting old cause I got it like in March on mp3.

It's a fact that uplifting trance (the trance with the nice melodies) is dissapearing and the more repetitive trance with a deeper feeling (also called progressive) is taking over, wheter you like it or not. Uplifting trance has been popular for a few years now and it's becoming a bit cheezy that's why many djs are making the step to the more progressive sounds.
I dont say Flight 643 is the sound of the future, I say progressive music is taking over!!! But progressive can go from almost techno-like songs (Flight 643) to repetitive trance with a very deep feel (Sasha, Digweed etc). Now you get it??

maybe you ppl have lost sight of the reason for listening to trance...

ive heard plenty of songs in my day that i didnt like... but i didnt sit around bickering about it... i just kept on dancing

i suggest you guys do the same

Jeez, you're such narrow-minded!!
"Don't think about trance, only dance on it." What kind of morron are you!?!?!?
You know, there are people who are more interested in the music than you, considering electronic music only as a thing to dance on.
I don't mind if your interest doesnt go any further than that but dont post that useless peace of "wisdom"

Do you have a problem with your ears, or what!?!?!
Thats very mature. LOL

Who says you need a beautifull driving melody to be progressive??? I would rather call songs with a beautifull melody UPLIFTING instead of progressive.
Can u read? I said tracks w/a beautiful driving melody are uplifting not progressive.

There are indeed more genres of trance than epic & progressive, so to you I would say: study on them and don't talk like shite!!!!
My opinion is talking shit?! Grow the fuck up punk!

The bottom line is THE SONG GOES NO WHERE! Wheres the progression??? It builds & buids, & u expect a climax/explosion but it never happens. It goes back to the same level.

well listen, like i said before, it doesn't matter what genre youre gonna classify it under, cuz frankly, i realy don't give a shit whats it classified under, if i like the track, im gonna hit my crowd with it and hope they go wild... now you keep arguing that there is no buildup or whatever, so fuckin what? i know if i ever hear it live at a club, i'd rip the dancefloor apart... btw, if u speed up the track a bit, maybe you'd like it then... peace, damn i hate these morning posts, i have no idea what i just wrote, lol, oh well, lates.....

Don't take the word "progressive" too literally!! For example Oldschool, are you also asking yourself "hey, where could that school be they're talking about!?" ??
A lot of progressive songs DONT GO ANYWHERE. The songs are one big climax!!

In case you didnt notice: I am very immature, but you don't mind, do you??

For you: get rid of that attitude... you don't know that much as you might think.

Twilogodess,

Who the fu(k cares if you work for Muse. You must be the janitor. I never heard of it and I don't think no one els has either.

If you don't work for BXR, TSUNAMI, DOS OR DIE, GO FOR IT, KOSMO, PLANET TRAXX, BONZAI, INCENTIVE,ETC, ETC, etc, PLEASE KEEP IT TO YOURSELF.

And on your reply of CLIMAX, YOU TOTALLY MISSED THE ENTIRE GOODNESS OF THE TUNE. Thats another thing that makes the tune wonderful, no huge breakdown.

The entire tune's structure is different from your usual structure that you would normally hear from tiesto (dutch production).

do not reply RUDELY to my posts.

HAHA! LOL! This thread is getting funny

One question though.. Is it really THAT important for you to give every tune a genre?? Many tunes are boardering towards different genres, and i don't see the point getting stressed by that fact and argue over different opinions about it.. Enjoy the music

Seems like persons have different opinions on how the genres sounds anyway..

Peace
