Bullet in the Gun, one track you don't like, woohoo. Shut the Fuck up. Ever seen the reaction this got in Gatecrasher when it and Oakie was in it's hey day? erm no!, and thats where it counts, Gatecrasher
A POS album like Bunkka?? wtf? not enough trance on there for you lovey? well boo fucking hoo. The album was released with critical acclaim, how many other dance artists can say that the majority of people liked there album?
DJmixes2k is not a credible source you fuck up.
Umes23:
I don't actually like some of the tracks on those tracklists, but what they show is that his sets are no longer random, they flow nicely, which is what Oakenfold sets were all about
You've been listening to him for 5 years? wow. Go listen to the stuff from 9 years ago, and see how the guy has progressed. You've been banging your head wondering how he's got to the top? you must be fucking stupid! It's called the 1999 Essential Mix world tour, and Paul Oakenfold set the standard for DJ's in that year. He very rarely played the same tune twice, his sets varied so much, without a loss in quality. Wow you've heard him trainwreck, twice in a set! I've heard PvD do it every other mix for nearly half a 3 hour set, at a major event. It's no secret that Oakie went to america, and has been arsing around ever since, he may have been the first to go over there and be able to play shit off his name, but he won't be the last. Scott Bond, Eddie Halliwell, Marco V spring to mind, of DJ's that goto america, get wasted, and spin badly. But they still play well where it counts, in Europe, and make no mistake, that is where it counts.......
so in short, you're wrong, both of you |
First of all, I don't listen to "Oakie trance" so stfu there. Secondly, no shit I know about his Essential Mix world tour, if only he mixed two tracks for longer than a minute in any set. Thirdly, you must be fucking stupid to like POS like Bunkka.
