lol,
Of corse people have been flaming DJs at the top for a long time. Alot of people get mad if famous DJs visit rarely. All this hogging going around, people think they should own the DJ. Its whats happening with PVD, people think now they have some "power" because PVD is coming. Thats why there was all this flaming about club Aria. No wonder all these people don't like Tiesto, they've seen him like... once.

Also, Trancegeek never said he all should like Tiesto. Man, people like to invent stuff.

Those people you mentioned who are flaming people, are the people I WAS calling ignorant.

You're the one thats flaming.
Want to see?

Buddy, you're on the wrong msg board. You have no idea what "progressive breaks" means.

people like you are too ignorant...

etc

Trancegeek
its people like them that, AND people that jump on the flame bandwagon, that are ignorant

True

And by the way, I dunno who mentioned that we should kiss DJs asses for coming over here to T.O (was it you Halo20), but I don't really feel like kissing anyone's butt just because he's well known and some big time DJ. If he doesn't play a good set this Saturday, he can kiss my ass!

Man, some of you guys are A-class fuckos you know? So we've heard Flaming June and Dreaming a million times and this goes out to Fantom.....but I'd always welcome a classic on a real sound system and I'm sure some people would agree with me. People on here were RAVING about how Tiesto dropped Flaming June back in December.

Oh, and the name of this site IS TRANCEaddict.com, not progressive.com or house.com. It's not even electronica.com no...none of the above. TRANCEaddict.com!!!! That means we talk about TRANCE here and all you trance bashers should go find your own site for fuck's sake. If you don't like the trance/anthem style, then stop coming here and bashing everyone else who still likes that sound.

And some of you guys take this stuff too seriously...get some sun or something or until the winter ends, go to a tanning salon and relax and get all that negative energy out.

Oh and another thing....one guy said they've never liked Tiesto, even back when they were into trance music. I find that very strange indeed.......Tiesto has some of the best productions out there under a lot of different names.

Um nope. Not me. I did imply that we should stop bitching about getting sweet lineups. Toronto gets huge names now and all we do is bitch. (is that the mixeup maybe?)

Im not bashing anyone/anything! I am stating my own personal opinions. I dont see how that is bashing?! If I say something like "I am of the opinion that so and so is a cheesey dj" why would that bother you or anyone else. I dont give two flying fucks when someone says *I think that someone that you like is cheese or is boring*. Why the fuck would I care, I know what *I* like and thats all that matters to me. Problems on here stem from the fact that many of you seem incapable of grasping the FACT that other people have their own unique tastes and styles. For some bizarre reason which I cant fathom to comprehend most of you get your panties tied up in a wad upon reading that someone doesnt like who you like.

What do you find strange?! That someone does not hold the same opinion as you?! That someone else doesnt think exactly like you?! I have NEVER been a fan of his. I'd listen to his stuff casually but it never did anything for me. Same thing goes for Oakie, I have his older GU's, newer stuff and to be honest they do nothing for me. The same thing goes for Tiesto's Magik's.

songs that sound like they've been produced 4 years ago with an added touch of Dj Sammy or something like that... with cheesy female vocals (don't get me wrong, there are some serious songs with female vocals, but most of them sound too europop these days). Then again, if you like it, I've got nothing wrong with that... just don't expect me to like it too.

Special K, you're right on the money... if anyone has a problem with my or anybody else's opinion, bah, that's your own freakin' problem. I know I really don't care what everyone else listens to and finds interesting, because I know what works for me...

And Dj Smitty:
