Yeah because teams seem to wither away in the west nowadays...where 7-8 teams were better than Cleveland last year and the first 2 franchise draft picks are located. The Least conference is a junior varsity conference! Everyone knows that. Playing for the right to be swept in the Finals.

Yep, I'm sure free agents will want to go to Boston in 4 years time when Allen, Pierce, and KG are 110 years old and haven't won a damn thing. Better to jump with those old farts then it would be to rise and win multiple championships with Roy and Aldridge for a much longer window.

well we all know the East is a pile of shit compared to the west... but thats even more reason to come on over... "yea, i'd rather finish 3rd from the bottom in the west, when I could have made the playoffs with the same record in the east" Its a no brainer... you take the playoffs every year, over NOT making them in the west... come on!

Celtics, Cavs, Heat and Detroit..to be fair, there are only 4 good teams in the West too. I think the Celts have a great chance of winning the east. They will def beat the Cavs for it.

Only thing you keep forgetting is that those rookies won't be free agents for 4 more years. If they were even free agents which they won't be. At that time, Duncan is like 210 years old. Nash is 156. Those powers won't be powers anymore unless they pull off some bold other moves. Then...it will others teams turns meaning those teams like PORTLAND baby. Or Utah or someone. Celtics will be long washed up then too.

True, didn't think about that...

BUT!!!!!!!

You'll still have Cuban and the Mavs, and you know he'll be hunting for the Arenas' and the Wades' and the JAMES' of the world when Dirk and Co. go down the shitters... and I'm going to guess the rest of the West teams will to, except the Spurs... they'll keep drafting International guys until they have NO Americans in their roster....

and yes the C's will be back to shit in 5 years, but I don't really care....

THE only thing I'm sad about.... is the C's won't have a shot at Dr. Roy Hibbert now... which... with my luck, the friggen Blazers will probably draft him or some other West team... cause that would just be fitting...

Like Dirk Nowitzki? lol yeah right. Michael Jordan had more heart than everybody combined. It matters on the person, not where they are from.
