According to reports Monaco have completed the signing of Andy van der Meyde, no fee has been reported yet.

Inter are close to signing Pierre Wome on a free from relegated Brescia. He would provided depth for the defense.

Inter are also in the race for Chiellini, who returned to Juve from Fiorentina but has stated he has no intention of staying with the Zebras.

And finally Davids looks like he will move to Turkey.

It shocks me too. It would be interesting to see who picks up one of the better strikers around. (Even if he had a bad last yr)

Van der Meyde looked like he never fit in playing for Inter. Monaco always manage to pick up decent deals to stay competitive. Deschamps is one of the best managers out there, IMO.

Vieri had a good season if you ask me, ppl expected the Vieri of old but the case is he has gotten older so his game had to change. He carreid us when Adriano was out and not scoring.

van der Meyde should've gotten more of a chance. Like when he played against Arsenal in that first CL match last season!
