Hell, half of us are at the DoubleTree lol
I'm sure i'm going to bump into a few of you just walking around.
Perhaps we should involve the "Hey Don't You Post On TranceAddict Picture Thread" into this thread and make it a "Hey, Didn't You Say You Were Going To DEMF On Trance Addict Picture Thread"
I think we are at Double Tree too. Looking at the schedule, hard to decide when and where. How about 4:30pm on Saturday before Ida goes on at the Beatport Stage? I would post on the Paxahau map to show where but the site is in maintenance. For the NYTAs, we mostly know each other so we do the same, have plans together.

Best bet is probably to meet at the back of the main stage or somewhere around the Beatport stage I think.

Sandeep, we should update the first post with a roll call of who is actually going and maybe in brackets the list of afterparties the person plans on attending.
It'd be sweet to incorporate the photo thread as well - although TA has changed so much since then.

anyone know anything about taking a cab over the border? Say, from the windsor train station straight into downtown. And how much would it be? is there any sort of flat rate? any help is appreciated.

Exactly. This thread is like 25 pages long for me ... I think it will be nice to have one clear list that includes After Parties, Pictures of the individual, Links to Scheudles .... everything .

Ditto. As of now I'm still rollin solo to my first DEMF and I'm starting to get that nervous excited feeling like when I first attended WMC years ago, also alone. That worked out well, as now I know a ton of people when I go down there, so I'm fairly confident the same will happen in Detroit. Still, some pics, a roll call, and a solid meetup would be of great help to people like me. I'm probably also gonna whore my number out to a bunch of you by PM beforehand.... That's right, I've got no shame
What’s everyone doing for parking at the doubletree? Parking at the hotel is a ridiculous $20/night, which I’m definitely not willing to pay. I found a Park-Rite like 300m down the road from doubletree for $5 daily which is where I’m gonna park.
Does anyone want to get hotel rooms on the same level? It would be more convenient to be door to door or at least on the same floor instead of going up and down every time we want to meet up or what not.
For TOTA gatherings, I say we should have a little meet sometime Saturday afternoon after we all unpack and settle in. Not sure exactly on time but how about something like 2pm. When you walk into Hart Plaza and make your way over to Vitamin Water stage let’s meet up at the very top right, closest to the entrance. Should be easy to spot…
If not, what does everyone else think on a meet-point?
Can’t believe it’s almost finally here, the most looked forward to festival of the year!

Anyone who wants to gain a deeper appreciation of DEMF and what it means to the city of Detroit should read this feature that just came out on RA
It's quite long, but it is definitely worth reading the whole way through. It's captivating, informative, emotional, exciting, and inspiring all at the same time. Easily the best piece I've read on RA since I started reading it a few years ago.
