Biografia: Víctor Valdés va ingressar a la disciplina blaugrana l 1 de juliol de 1992, procedent del Peña Cinco Copas. Després de passar per diverses categories inferiors del FC Barcelona, va començar a fer-se un nom al Barça B i aviat els serveis tècnics del Club van decidir que entrenés amb el primer equip.

Cool, i've been studying it for 3 years day in and out at school now. I really like they language but hate it at the same time coz its just overkill at school...
Anyway, what you said isnt completely correct.
My name is Ian = Mi nombre (=noun) es Ian (thats literally)
OR
Me llamo (=verb) Ian (which is difficult to translate in english since you, it seems dont have two ways to say that, it would give something like this: I have the name Ian)
o bien:
Soy Ian, thats the easiest i guess
edit; qué tal was good except for the accent
