I love skull crushers. I always finish my arm workouts with them, they just kill my arms and it feels so good.

been there, get some medicated baby powder (gold bond) and you will have no more problems, also if you just going to be doing running underarmor makes a good briefs that are somewhat long to prevent that.

Hey.

I just startet doing deadlifts and i'm wondering how you guys take them?
Do you place the bar on the floor after each rep, or do you keep it up doing the entire set?

Also do you take them on leg days or back days?

deadlift i do straight legged for ass/hams/lower back and on leg days.

bent leg deadlifts, less weight, and is for mid back

I usually do a controlled drop down letting it go to rest and then smoothly explode back up. Puish your hips forward like your humping something to target those hams.

Okay.. thanks

Then i'm gonna do a mix of straight leg and bent legs deadlifts, so I can hit both the middle and lower back.

good on you. I usually do squats and then immediately drop the rack and start doing deadlifts...gets one hell of a pump going

so right now since Im trying to reshape meself hard...I do this workout 2x a week. and run between when i can fit it into school. Running tomorrow before class

flat DB bench:

1x8 70
1x6 90
1x10 80
1x10 70

T-bar rows:

1x10 2(45s)
2x10 3(45s)
1x12 2(45s)

incline flies DB

3x8 45s

alternates between seated rows and wide grip lat pulldowns:

seated rows are :

1x10 135
1x8 150
1x8 165
1x10 135

lat pulls

that same thing minus 15lbs on each.

then a ligh 3x8 seated calf raises with 2(45s)

ab machine 4x15 80lbs

Now heres the kicker. I did this, and then waited 3 days and did it again. then waited 3 days and did it again and on 3rd day I couldnt even touch the 90s 1 time. I was waiting THREE days between this stuff and was losing strength.

I now realize Why I was stuck at 60lbs on bench for so long. I wasnt taking 3 days off I was just working legs and arms in between...even more shit to try and heal!!!!

So 3 weeks ago I started this and have gone from the 60s to the 90s and increased almost all by a lot in strength.

so yeah, ive noticed a huge difference in chest size in these couple weeks and my back is getting awesome.

Its pretty exciting. Im also on a restriced diet to drop fat and focus on muscle growth in only 2 areas really.

This has felt very good.

nice man...well you can't argue with results right? that's great shit is going good like that. man that seems like soooo much off time in between work out days...crazy, but hey...if its working do it.

as for myself...this is what i've kinda fallen into for the time being.

2 days lift in a row...one day run.

i'm really trying to start thinking on a general level though too. i know you probably feel similar orbax...i mean, i wanna be great in a lot of things other then physically...so i'm really trying to make an extra effort to increase the amount of time that i have for learning. i mean, i have so many interests that go beyond college ciriculum's and i'd like to expand my days to include time to learn about them...so over the next week or so that's going to be a big part of my planning. keep going with the lift, but get shit in order on all the other levels too...i dunno...just been on my mind today heehhe

its a lot of little things, like, every day after calves, my calves would be sore, no matter how long I did calves (weeks etc)

then I realized. Thats wrong. It must be something IM doing. So i upped the weight and started using a more natural motion that didnt ball the calf up on the contraction so much. did many sets yesterday and im gonna go on a run today because it feels fine.

Its just Occams razor on a lot of this stuff...im not eating or taking the supplements like a body builder does. I have a restricted diet with zero sups.

then I go in and try to work out every day or something..Im just not going to get any growth naturally. I dunno. Ive only been doing this for a few weeks now, so this may just be me switching up my routine and shocking my muscles with something new to them.

Im gonna keep doing this for another month or so and see what happens.
