and good evening to all. nice to see Greg around. how are all my little students? I wish you all the best in studying.
I want to discuss philosophy with someone....well, what I really want to know is how many of you take chances? Do you go after your dreams or just DREAM about them?
For example, if you had the chance to move to Ibiza for the summer and work at Manumission, would you take it?
Or even just to move to another country and start over? How many of you would just GO. just take the chance and GO?
i like this A LOT, i have these 'dreaming' issues all the time
i dream BIG
but if i want it bad enough, i can make it happen in time...
if i had the chance to move to ibiza for the summer and work at manumission, i would do it. no questions asked.
move to another country and start over? i've wanted to do that for years...a few years ago my roommate and i were going to move to spain and be sheepherders for a bit.
i've wanted to go to germany and work for audi or bmw since 1999. i even took a german class (what good it did me).
as far as taking the chance and go, you gotta do it. no regrets. if it doesn't work out, you can always come back. my motto for a bit was "do not be afraid of the unknown".

as the snowboarders say, go BIG or go home, right ?
i am seriously considering going back to switzerland as a direct result of the us' current foreign (and domestic actually) policy. not to make this a political thread but i am not 'proud to be an american' nowadays, plus my mom has always wanted me to spend more time in 'the motherland'. what id do there, who knows.
taking german is always worthwhile ! i took it as a class for the first time this year and the grammar is tough, but you gotta admit its one hella cool language. just practice, and you can serenade pvd a little better those 3 nights in a row
