Vnatic, I couldn't have said it better myself! Thanks for sharing and thanks for the review. Let's hope that next years sensation won't be this bad, I'm going there then
Imho, I think that Rob Gee and the crew destroyed the evening completely! Even by watching the video I could see that the atmosphere was not the same in the arena as it was in sensation -03 to -05! They even skipped the "dream-ketchup" mumbo jumbo on the last DJ's because of the fear that the crowd will go bananaz and destroy the place. If I would be there, with the tickets paid and all, I would've demand to get the money refunded! Seriously, this year was VERY unprofessional!
Expectations on the next year lineup(in this order):
Tom Harding - starts up with some hardtrance to get the people going nice and smooth, just like last year!
Scot Project - KICKASS dj with mixed styles
Dana - continues with some good music(she's a sure card)
Pavo - awesome set 2004, capable of doing kick-ass hardstyle sets!
Luna - the hardstyle god (next to zany and technoboy )
The prophet - guy knows how to do it, now doubt
Zany - no words for this guy
Last hardcore Dj should be Promo, he rocked the boat 2004!
Can anyone agree with me on this one? |
I repeat, Rob Gee done live act like they dealt with ID&T!!! it's only ID&T fault!!!
About your lineup. It's sucks! Tom harding plays NRG ( dont like that style), Scot sucks last few years, Dana not like, Pavo was very good @ 04, Luna sucks a lot, he's not popular more than a few years. I liked his early sets a lot, but now... Prophet - cool choice, Zany also good. About hardcore DJ promo can't plays again as the same tracks will be repeted again!
As i said earlier, Sensation from the begining was multistyle electronic dance music event! White invites all light electronik genres, black - hardest! As it's a thread for Black i'll post my version of line up.
I'll put a few variants for every style
for the begining hard trance: Kai tRacid, DJ Wag (best hardtrancer for me, you can see his tracklists in his tracklist archive link in my signature) Hennes & Cold, Martin Roth
maybe Techtrance: Sander van Doorn would be the best
hardtechno: Sven Wittekind, Felix Kroecher (heard a few his last shows, very dark schranz would feet to black perfect), e.t.c
maybe drum'n'bass, not sure!!: i don't know that style Djs a lot (really hated that style till i heard some nice sound from D'n'B floor when i moved to Kiev for Blank & Jones
some jump for sure, i like it: Darkraver (but not annually from 2003!), Ruthless & Vorwerk, Norman, Deaz D e.t.c.
hardstyle: Zany, Rob, Prophet, Brennan & Heart, Mondello e.t.c.
hardcore: Unexist, Stunned Guys, Scott Brown, Viper, Neophyte, Nosferatu, Promo, Catscan..
Some kind of that lineup should be great. And no fucking megamix! 1.5 hours to each DJ. As people have to rest sometimes, they can miss some style they don't like.
