Heavy metal acually does work well with CERTAIN types of EDM such as Goa and PsyTrance.

And this Dream Catcher thing and the MC is really pissing me off. Thank god they stopped doing that at the end.

God damn this is so funny have everyone is booing when the guy is getting the shit kicked out of him. Then everyone is cheering when Rob Gee leaves the place.

That was the greatest thing ever.

We as a community have strong feelings about EDM, I personally hate rock music, And it should not in any shape or form find its way in EDM associated events, What happened last night was a clear example on why you cannot mix two styles of music together, Your gonna get those people who are very passionate about dance music completely pissed off. They came to dance, They didnt came to rock, Heh.

Heavy metal with goa must be terrible collaboration! If you're mixing these style, you gonna be kicked like Rob Gee.

If it's funny for you, that mean you're a dumb or an idiot, like you write under you name! It's not Rob Gee's fault that he was booked on that event! Actually early he played hardcore, as i know. If Britney Spears will be booked for Sensation White and people will beat her, it would be funny also and thanks to ID&T for great show? If those ID&T bastards invite highed on dope ravers from all Holland, they must think better on lineup!

I hate fucking hip-hop, but i won't beat all rapers. I just won't listen them. I remember near 7 years ago on one discothek were invited some polish rock group for 45 minutes. I just went outside to wait till the end of their performance. In that time you can also buy some drinks or make toilet break. But our people begin to screaming some strong language words like "fuck you" e.t.c. It's our ukrainian culture! It's one of the reasons why i hate ukraine and will move to Italy soon. Noone forces you listen some music you don't like. DJ or artist is just doing his job how he can do. If i play hardtrance & trance i i'll be booking to play at the wedding, it will be fault of the orginizers if people won't like my sound!

said very well DJAsh

its messed what happen to the guy who climbed on stage. Also wtf wasn't Marcel Woods added to this for, this pissed me off when he played 30 minute set last year and this time he didn't even play. I hope that Sensation Black adds Marcel Woods, John 00 Fleming and Chris Liebing because even though I love hardstyle/jumpstyle DJ's I still think they need to mix it with other dark edm style.

Same goes for Sneation white, what the deal with all house music DJ and no Tiesto's 30 minute set was a joke.Good thing they booked Ferry Corsten atleast

short translation for non dutch:

the guy who climbed up on stage and got the shit kicked out of him by rob gee & crew, pressed charges. Rob & crew all have to pay 2500 euro's fine. The guy who climbed up on the stage is going to be called into court ( doesn't say why, probably for bumrushing )

Are you kidding us??? Rob Gee have to pay 2500 to junkie who began the fight? On my opinion the only one who have to pay, it's ID&T to Rob Gee!!! That band really can't fight, i would make it much better!

in our country you can beat him till broken legs & hands and you will pay a few hundreds bucks max. Actually in our discothecks fights is a usuall thing. Back in 2000, during and after every fucking discothek some people fought near the clubs up to 20-30 people. Just here it's normal that you can fight with someone and it will be only your business! Not like in US, if i hit someone, then i'll pay a few thousands for that. It's fucking stupid. I remeber a few years ago 2 czech guys were beaten & robed by some band with pipes. Then foreighners were in the hostital with broken heads! Sad Story

Vnatic, I couldn't have said it better myself! Thanks for sharing and thanks for the review. Let's hope that next years sensation won't be this bad, I'm going there then

Imho, I think that Rob Gee and the crew destroyed the evening completely! Even by watching the video I could see that the atmosphere was not the same in the arena as it was in sensation -03 to -05! They even skipped the "dream-ketchup" mumbo jumbo on the last DJ's because of the fear that the crowd will go bananaz and destroy the place. If I would be there, with the tickets paid and all, I would've demand to get the money refunded! Seriously, this year was VERY unprofessional!

Expectations on the next year lineup(in this order):

Tom Harding - starts up with some hardtrance to get the people going nice and smooth, just like last year!
Scot Project - KICKASS dj with mixed styles
Dana - continues with some good music(she's a sure card)
Pavo - awesome set 2004, capable of doing kick-ass hardstyle sets!
Luna - the hardstyle god (next to zany and technoboy )
The prophet - guy knows how to do it, now doubt
Zany - no words for this guy
Last hardcore Dj should be Promo, he rocked the boat 2004!

Can anyone agree with me on this one?

I repeat, Rob Gee done live act like they dealt with ID&T!!! it's only ID&T fault!!!

About your lineup. It's sucks! Tom harding plays NRG ( dont like that style), Scot sucks last few years, Dana not like, Pavo was very good @ 04, Luna sucks a lot, he's not popular more than a few years. I liked his early sets a lot, but now... Prophet - cool choice, Zany also good. About hardcore DJ promo can't plays again as the same tracks will be repeted again!

As i said earlier, Sensation from the begining was multistyle electronic dance music event! White invites all light electronik genres, black - hardest! As it's a thread for Black i'll post my version of line up.
I'll put a few variants for every style

for the begining hard trance: Kai tRacid, DJ Wag (best hardtrancer for me, you can see his tracklists in his tracklist archive link in my signature) Hennes & Cold, Martin Roth

maybe Techtrance: Sander van Doorn would be the best

hardtechno: Sven Wittekind, Felix Kroecher (heard a few his last shows, very dark schranz would feet to black perfect), e.t.c

maybe drum'n'bass, not sure!!: i don't know that style Djs a lot (really hated that style till i heard some nice sound from D'n'B floor when i moved to Kiev for Blank & Jones

some jump for sure, i like it: Darkraver (but not annually from 2003!), Ruthless & Vorwerk, Norman, Deaz D e.t.c.

hardstyle: Zany, Rob, Prophet, Brennan & Heart, Mondello e.t.c.

hardcore: Unexist, Stunned Guys, Scott Brown, Viper, Neophyte, Nosferatu, Promo, Catscan..

Some kind of that lineup should be great. And no fucking megamix! 1.5 hours to each DJ. As people have to rest sometimes, they can miss some style they don't like.

If I had to do the Black lineup, I'd do this:

- DJ Scot Project
- Yoji Biomehanika
- Blutonium Boy
- Lady Dana vs. DJ Luna
- DJ Pavo & The Prophet
- DJ Zany & DJ Isaac
- DJ Promo or DJ Dione or Tommyknocker
- Neophyte

+1

hell yeh! thats a wicked lineup. couldnt have put it better myself!
