Ive been playing since the first Open Beta [ Sewers map ]. All I can say is its one of the more strategic FPS games out there. Like Wolf:ET you need to play as a team, in order to win in the game. However unlike Wolf:ET - the classes are balanced and every class is important. eg - CovertOps can deploy Radars which allow your team to see the enemy on the mini map.
If your enemies have a Radar up and your team doesn't - they have a huge advantage. If they do have a radar up - you need to send someone from your team to blow it up and you can do that using your 'fireteam', Mission Menu and Context Menu.
Engies can deploy EITHER Anti Inf Anti Artillery or Anti Vehicle deployables. They are only aloud one each - which means Engineers need to coordinate and communicate the deployables they are going to use - in order to counter all 3 threats.
So what the game developers have done [ splash damage ] is force people to play as a team... but also designed a game that has so much depth that each class can be played 100s of different ways.
so, its good then? cool. looking fwd to it. let you fellas know when ive got it and you can come thrash me. honestly, the whole wireless a bit shit for shooters

Can't wait for UT3.
I had a play with ET:quake wars last night but it didn't do much for me.
I think warfare in ut3 looks like it's gonna be a lot more solid than what ET:QW appeared to be in the demo.
That being said I'm not really big on massive vehicle "assault" style game modes... ie ONS and AS in ut2k4. Although I might try my hand at warfare a little.
DM/TDM/CTF are where the real men hang out

I've only played the pc version which is different to the console version.
The pc version is always inferior,. and quite frankly it sucked. Note: the console version might actually be good though! dunno
Anyways, ESPN NFL 2K5 is the best NFL game, EVER.
EA Sports fucking suck, and do NOT support them andr buy their games. If they can't make their games better, and the only way they can deal with competition is by literally eliminating the competition, fuck 'em.
Quake Wars(or the demo anyways) played too much like BF2142. Between it , BF2 and Quake Wars.. seems they're starting to churn out the same crap, with a slightly different spin to it
I just threw my face on the keyboard and just made more sense than you.

yeah, world in conflict looks like fun, but i seriously doubt it will replace supreme commander as my RTS of choice.

Supreme Commander? You serious? I finished the single player campaign but CBFed trying multiplayer. I don't like the fact that the first 45 minutes are spend just building crap and waiting to get an army able of destroying more than a single Point Turret :|
That and the fact that the graphics were wasted on the game due to you having to spend 3/4 of your time in the zoomed out OMG16BITGFXMODE where everything reverts to blocks on the map :|
