if their wasnt a magik 6....then armin would be a little bit closer to tiesto's talent

Armin is good, but nowhere near Tiësto.

Armin is way better than Tiesto nowadays. Until 1 year ago tiesto was my favorite but his music style isnt euphoric/ uplifting trance anymore, he is now a HARD TRANCE DJ unfortunatley ! Armin on the contrary remains still a true trance dj with better mixes and productions than Tiesto !

Hope next year Armin will be number 1 !

I chose Tiesto.
Reasons why:
Tiesto Plays more veriety.
His style, even when comparing trance style... has never been so predictable.
I believe Armin tends to play songs that have the big synth buildups, which are nice, but too predictable... that era was done in 99-00.
Tiesto has had his share of off time, but has came back, and it was a matter of getting comfortable with the whole genre style change.
Its very difficult from playing pure trance, to all of a sudden changing the style, while keeping fans happy. Even, just getting used to the new music,ect.
Production wise. I feel Armin has more natural talent, but throughout the years, Tiesto has worked harder and improved more than Armin. Productions seem to have better quality and more meaning. Armin productions seem to be getting redundant, to where you go "ive hear this before".
Dont get me wrong.. armin is a very young talented producer and DJ, especially for his age. But i believe Tiesto takes em... Armins time will come, as he matures along the way.
Tiesto seems to have produces the right tracks at the right time, and played at the right places at the right time, to make a name for himeself. But he has been in the business for many years, working hard.

Armin is fabulous, but he can never compete with Tiesto. Tiesto just has a much better performance, more variety in his style and Armin has just never filled an entire stadium with 25.000 people...

I like both of them quite much ... both have awesome livesets and CDs ... because Armin had more influence on me getting into trance, so I am choosing
