I watched Cronenberg's "Eastern Promises" last weekend. It was quite good, and one of the better movies I've seen recently. However, it lacked great surprises, memorable scenes or other stuff that makes a movie extraordinary. It was just two hours of great entertainment, with amazing actors and an interesting plot.
