To be honest I've played around with the idea of using noise with differing subtractive filtration to achieve structured sound, but I never actually did anything.

So how big is the noise scene?

whats interesting is that the beat junkies (although i am not 100% sure) did a turntablist set... without any vinyl. they used their 1200s with tonearm, carts, styli and deck to create tracks from well.. noise. it was really interesting, and if anyone can get their hands on this please pm me i would love to hear it!

Yeah I've heard about that, I've figured out how to do some basic scratch sounds without a vinyl (purely by accident), but I'd like to hear it as well.

stuff like this I like:

I think it's artistic in the way abstract art is.

Just listened to this and it is surprisingly good. What else is there along this style?

very intersting, but you highjacked the thread!

I am a fan of pitched tunes. Maybe not 40%, but I modified my technics so it would go faster than +8% (about 15% now).

Gary D. used to spin a couple of tunes at 45rpm -8%. I remember BBE - Seven Days and One Week.

now go on talking about noise

yeah boozywoozy [although one of my fave mixes] is very basic, and does sound very nu-skool gabba-ish, prolly due to its dark and hollow soundingness. i think youd prolly get away with dropping this at the start of a nu-skool gabba set at the start of the night.
but i find that this fits in brilliantly straight after klitzing - i like that beat [kaylab mix] when ever i drop klitzing, i always drop this afterwards
