were those some times or what! i remember before the police started really cracking down on that place how out of control it was. the vip section up top was insane! girls walking around undressed, people doing coke off of keychains in the bathroom, guys getting oral right in front of people! they used to have strippers come in and strip to the music on certain nights. man ive never seen a vip section more off the hook than the old zei club. me and my friend used to go there all the time and it was awesome. every walk of life was on the upper level of that place. that was the first club i used to go to where id stay till the sun came up. saw some great djs there like scot project , taucher, johnny vicious, atb, cosmic gate etc. i remember when tiesto spun there for the first time. i waited in line for 2 hours in the middle of january without a coat on. back then the club was just unprepared for the amount of people that showed up. sometimes i miss that level of energy that club was able to create....
OH YEAH MET A LOT OF PEOPLE THERE BACK IN THE DAY THAT WOULD EVENTUALLY BE ON THESE BOARDS. I USED TO TALK ABOUT THIS SITE TO PEOPLE BACK THEN TO ANYBODY WHO WOULD LISTEN!

LMFAO!!! Dude, you're so right on with that post that it makes me think that we were lucky to have escaped with our lives. LOL.
The 'Prive' was more than just off the hook! I just remember seeing what I thought HAD to have been prostitutes going up to random guys, taking $20 or $50 bills from them to lift up their shirts to get felt up, and then even lifting the bottoms of their dresses to get *whatever* they did! I remember the bouncers of that club asking people if they wanted *rolls* or whatever else there was to offer. I remember the sharp contrast with Buzz, how Buzz had that incredibly thorough search which didn't allow ANYTHING while Glow had people inside with dust masks full of Vicks, etc. Remember how they used to hand out the glowsticks upstairs? When everyone would throw them down to the lower level, popping all of the balloons that they had floating in the air between the floors? That was cool as shit!!!
Those were some amazing times, and I'm not even referring to all of the decadence. I remember DJ Bossi of Cosmic Gate, Scot Project, Johnny Vicious, Taucher, Edgar V, etc. George Acosta was even on fire back then! Zei Club seemed to almost always cater to harder trance than what we are accustomed to hearing at the clubs now. I kind of miss it for that! It was a totally different experience than what we get now.
I think what I most enjoyed was how you could stand right behind the DJ booth (next to the laser guy) watching him mix every single track.!
