My personal tastes I suppose have just developed from where they were, say, back in 2000. Back then, Tiesto could create an atmosphere for me like no other DJ. His energy behind the decks, the uplifting energetic pace of his sets, etc ... kept me fascinated. I would have voted him the #1 DJ in the world back then.

But not now. Now I find much more appreciation in the structure and build of a melodic progressive house set. Or for that matter, a wide ranging house set - as long as it has the "flow" that I love a DJ to create. The last show I saw Tiesto at I was entertained, but it just goes all over the place. His "radical mixing" as you call it has turned me off to what he does. I love watching Danny Howells behind the decks, as charismatic as any I've ever seen, mix a wide range blending from chill to breaks, funk house to techno - but for me, he does it with a flavor and technique that Tiesto just doesn't have.

This is, after all, just my opinion.

People should keep in mind Tiesto played 2 other shows last night in Ireland before he played NEC....so the man played 2 gigs in 1 country then jumped to another country to play another gig...not too mention people have stated that NEC was having serious problems with their equipment...

For all the people complaining...do me a favor....go DJ 2 clubs in Ireland...then jump to England and play the huge NEC party...deal with the messed up equipment....then, and only then , can you bitch about Tiesto being shite....

Everyone knows the DJ Mag list is a joke....i mean you people say the same shit over and over and over and over again...as if we dont know it is not based on skills.....but the funny part is if your favorite DJ won the retarted list you would say the list owns....it's a catch 22.

And not for nothing, but whoever sat home on a Saturday night to listen to NEC and not go out, is a loser anyway...so why argue...go get a girl, a life, a job, anything...

A) The only reason I wrote what I did is because I've seen a lot of what you've posted throughout this forum, most of it just trolling at the UKTAs and whoever for no particular reason

B) I didn't make the animated sig

C) If you would've taken the time to read my first post you would've realized that I did create this thread simply based upon his performance last night.
