Not at all mate have you ever heard these tunes
Dominik Eulberg - Die Rotbauchunken Vom Tegernsee
Carsten Jost - Uccellacciuccellini
Quality minimalism..
I quite dig plastikman's new tune as well - i don't know..
Do you know the sender record label, they are imo the best in the business if you like minimal clicky techno.
I also quite liked polygons by david alvarado, but haven't really heard any recent stuff of his..

What would you guys say would be a really good techno album (eventhough thats pretty broad, but whatever you like) because I am not a big techno fiend but I wanted to look into it

techno albums are on the large part not what you'd expect from the artists producing them..
take oxia's 24 heurs album, I think it's really different from his usual production style (not bad just different) it's much more experimental. The same can be said for alter ego's new album, I really like some of their work, but their new album, rocker aside, is just plain weird.
The best techno album I own is probably adam beyer and marco carola - fusionframe.
Josh Wink - Oakish <-- how come no one had mentioned?
FC Kahuna - Machine Says Yes (Josh Wink Interpretation)
Mindlab - Lick
Barada - Yardwork
Bryan Zentz - D-Clash
Gecko - Forget the World
Ricardo Villalobos - 808 Bassqueen <--- softer, more minimalistic tech house, but still awesome
Ben Sims - City Life (Marco Bailey Remix)
Headroom - Surreal 3.9 (A Side)
Infamous Player - Infamous Player (Marco Bailey Remix)
Patrick Skoog - Horizonte
Christian Smith & John Selway - Giant (A-Side)
DJ Preach - Give Me A Break
DJ Preach - Refreshing
DJ Preach - Stars
Teknobrat - Breaks Of Death (DJ Preach Remix)
(yes i'm a big DJ Preach fan )
