I was on the side of the "pro Guv" people before and said that if you think it's too crowded don't go, it gives us more room to dance etc. That's just fucked up thinking because people WILL go despite the amount of people and it will be crowded anyway! The reality is crowd control needs to be done and if Guv was all access that night then I would have for SURE left and went to KH for at least some of the night...fuck I can't take anymore nights where it's rammed beyond capacity to the point where I'm just sitting down on the stage listening to the music, why pay to do that when I can do that at home?? Point being: This is a DANCE club, people go to dance! Period. (Among other stuff ) If I can't do that what's the point? Good on the person who's going to get a complaint going. Even System was rammed to the point where people weren't as happy as they could have been...mehhhhhhhhh it's getting to be a really annoying problem. Easy solution? Charge more in terms of an entry and cap the capacity! Simple.

First of all, WHY do you think Guv will close based on if he calls the fire marshall and complains? That's based on an assumption, one I think is faulty. As for what he would rather have "you and a couple of your loser friends dancing around guv by yourselfs?...". YES. I'd rather have that then 3000 people crammed into a room build for 2500 and then when something horrible happens (ie a fire) and everybody fucking dies. I'd rather take my chances with not having as many people in there (half full even) and having a good time than it being fucking rammed to the point where it's a safety issue and not enjoying msyelf period. I went there to see Sander K for the AXE deoderant party and the Guv mainroom was about half full if that, I had a wicked time, tons of room to dance, Sander fucking rocking it. I want a party like that. (or a party that's the same capacity as Koolhaus where there is SOME room to dance). Stop being paranoid that they're going to close down your "precious" Guv. Relax man.
