Aight, body is at least semi-functioning now. Didn't have a ticket beforehand, so I got in line at 7:00. Was really worth it though, met a real cool group of Londonites. Also, at about 7:30 when it was just me and two other people, Paul was coming in, and was kind enough to give autographs. If nothing else, it was worth showing up way early just for that. I meant to stop up at the TA meet-up, but I was having too much fun with the people I met (no insult intended to TAs )
Hardwick was pretty good I thought. Track selection was pretty spot-on, as was the mixing up until the end. Set after and including Velvet Morning was the best part for me. I thought Hardwick did a very good warm-up job, had me perfectly primed for PvD.
PvD's set was really great, although unfortunately my legs were a bit shot by the middle of the set. Really liked the second track (one with piano I think?), and the last track he played was also really good.
Sat out the first hour of Sheridan's set, then went out and danced the f00k out of the new-found energy that magically came back to my legs. Was a little bit irritated that Sheridan's set was basically a marathon of bass-lines, but it was still pretty cool.
Hopefully there'll be some more chances to meet up with all the TAs in the coming months, really wish I could have gone back upstairs at 11.
Btw, anyone gonna be in Berlin next week for Vandit Night @ Casino?
