yea i love my proper prog, the prog breaks is ok for a track or two, but i get sick of it for a whole set.
Tony dosnt play prog breaks, he plays melodic prog, it just so happens that a lot of prog breaks are very melodic (listening to Renaisance therapy session disc 1 now and is proving this!)
He just like the progressive sounds with a nice epic melodic sound. His sets are awesome, very well programmed, he really knows what goes together. |
Lol so he doesn't play prog breaks, but a lot of what he plays is prog breaks. (that's what u just said).
I play melodic progressive, without playing prog breaks. Tony does like prog breaks, as long as it's melodic. Overall his style I'd say is just melodic progressive, but I'd put money on ~any~ of his sets having @ least 1 or 2 prog breaks tracks in it(which is melodic).
BTW the end of Disc 1 of Therapy Sessions is straight up/party breaks. [not that it wasn't expected, it is Phil K and all].
