i've always been pretty shy...but i'm getting a lot better about it.

but to you ladies that are afraid to start up conversation with a guy...why? i personally have never turned down any girl that has started talking to me. if you see something, why not go for it? what do you have to lose? that's how i'm trying to look at things anyway...

Love them! If I don't know it, teach me it and I'll whoop your ass! Not lookin' for marraige (oh God no), just someone to wake up next to in the morning.

But alas, maybe it's just this town, but that's not good enough, and the fact that I'm not willing to wear skanky clothes and throw myself onto random guys in an attempt to meet someone nice, apparantly is a bad thing.

I get all flustered doing things like that. If I catch a guy looking at me I'll smile and look back a few time, giving the hint "hey, I'm interested! Come talk to me!" but I'm too shy to do it on my own.

Funny thing is, I don't even remember the last time a guy came up and tried to get to know me.

yea you basically just described me and my situation....my bf and i called it quits last week for the same reasons...guys suck. i know it's not me, i'm a great girlfriend.

see that's how us metros feel exactly.

i know i speak for shadowolf and uwm when i say that we all are very giving.

we don't expect you to have to do all the cooking, cleaning, laundry etc. instead we like to make you feel like a queen because that's what you are to us. when we date girls we try and show them how much they mean to us by doing little things to make their life easier.

of course sex is good, but we tend to also be very giving in that aswell...we want to please the ladies we are dating. and we like to snuggle too.

so the problem we have is the same that you have with men. we are ready to find someone that likes to be a little more serious and loving, but the women that we find have "chicks before dicks" attitudes hehehe. we are great guys, but never seem to be appreciated as such...

I have never been afraid to talk to anyone. I think I was shy as a child, but I outgrew that quickly. I may get flustered at times, but I try not to let it stop me from speaking to someone. You really don't have anything to lose. Some people are afraid of rejection. I am the type to be afraid of not knowing.

Everyone is different and there is nothing wrong with being shy. It can be an endearing quality.

although for the past 2 years I stoped caring, and now I go up to girls expecting to stop talking to them after 5 minutes...not get their number, and not talk to them again...I dunno where that gets me, but I am talking to them.

Maybe soon I'll actually ask for a number..




anyways, it takes two sides to hook up.....you can't blame shitty guys, or shitty girls....we all bear the blame.
