I've only been to avalon NYC once and the main floor is ridiculously packed. I actually don't mind the 2nd floor because you can hang over the rail and watch all the people on the main floor and you can also look into the DJ booth.

ive never been to avalon, is it really that bad with space? crowded like sardines? as long as i can dance and not get knocked in the back consistently. should i try to buy tickets in advance, is the line up to the door ridiculous? wat time should i get there if i just wanna see ferry?
