I love having pets.. I have 2 cats (that are here at my place) and 2 dogs (one is my parents though, the other is mine) which live with my parents..

and my dog has been really sick lately.. so we took him to the vet and just found out today that he has cancer.
I am going to have to put him down.. soooo sad

OH MY GOD Jenn, I am so sorry to hear here that. When we had to put down our dog, Sophie, it was one of the saddest days of my life.

I still still well up if when I remember her.

Yeah, it totally sucks... but there is nothing you can do about it. I am dreading taking him to the vet though.. haven't decided whether I am going to stay with him or not yet.. I really don't wanna see that last look on his face

When I put my dog down after 14 years I stayed in the room. She gave me unconditional love for 14 years - I wasn't about to let her be scared shitless with some cold vetrinarian for her last moments on earth. I held her head in my arms and patted her and she simply went to sleep, looking at me. You really should go in and be with them. After everything they've contributed to your life, it really is a testament to their companionship.

And now I'm bawling. Fuck.
