They were probably trying to get everyone synched but couldn’t. I’ve seen a lot of people in NY go to events like this but have no business being there. You know the kind; they’ll go to OzzFest one day and go see Prodigy the next. They don’t seem to be fans of the artist or the music. Get enough of these people and it would be hard to establish rapport with the crowd.

Well Ive only seen Tiesto live once, so maybe I just picked a wrong time to go, although, alot of other people I went with had a blast. Tiesto just wasnt playing enough tracks that I liked and if he did he would stick them in the wierdest places. On the other hand, Ive seen Dyk several times... I dont think Ive missed a NYC show since I got into the club scene. With the numerous fights that were breaking out on the dancefloor and in the club, I dont think Paul was able to get into it... I think he just winged it after all that shit.
