They might've collaborated, and I definitely wouldn't rule that out. I disagree on the kicks. They, along with the synths, are what said, "Tiësto!" Maybe Armin's trying to reach number one by copying who's already there.

I'd agree with that!

(Tiesto's Adagio didn't appeal to me in any way, shape or form. It's only half a melody, for starters...)

Fire & Ice Souvenir de Chine was damn good, though. (Different to this new tune, but not disimilar. Definately an influence for whoever made this new track, though.)

I did also like Jan Gustafsson's "True Fiction", too, but it's on a completely different "epic" scale to the aforementioned.

I like epic trance.

Agree 107%!

I never connected to Tiesto's Adagio.
Souvenir de Chine was awesome!
And I love epic trance too

I found this from Armin:

code:
Armin van Buuren: Well, I consider the State of Trance a little bit like my backyard. A lot of people don't know that I don't get any money for the show and it takes a lot of time to produce the show. I don't have any producer nor any engineer that helps me with selecting the show. I basically have to drive to Amsterdam to the studio of ID&T. I sit down with the latest records I've bought and the show exists of the latest tracks that are in my case. I don't make any secrets of any tracks that are in my show. If there's an unknown artists, I really don't know the title as there is nothing I want to keep secret or anything. It's a cross section of records that are out at the moment. I really enjoyed listening to a lot of radio shows when I was younger and I really want to give something back to the younger crowd who don't have any money to buy vinyls, but want to be updated on what's good and what's not. So what I do, I just play a lot of tracks, some of the tracks I'm not really sure that I like.

wrong, armin does keep secrets ... he already told to XDR (read it elsewhere in this thread), that this song is BIG NEWS ... COMING SOON .. .so he knows more about it. its the sensation anthem, so a name must be known, or be thought of. next to that, arminsometimes keeps tracknames behind. he did it for example with a track one of my friends produced some time ago, a track of arizona. im not certain which track of him it was, but the first time he played, he didnt mention a name, the second time he played it, he revealed some parts of the name, of the full 100% ....

okay .. ill leave u alone, since u are still in training. i guess you really know the drill here on TA, on how things work .... rooky. you are here only for 1, maybe 2 months now, and u are barking @ me??? stfu ...
anyway, this thread doesnt need to be closed, the song is kinda ID-ed (its prolly the white anthem), but we have no name .... thats what its about. u see?
yes, we know the song is played several times by (only) armin, we know only he has it, we know its prolly gonna be the sensation white anthem ... we know a lot. its POSSIBLE too (looking @ XDR's contribution here) that this song will be on armin's new artist album, not asot 2005, but his artist album .. so we know, after some 100+ replies, some stuff about the tune. but then u come in, and tell me, to shut up? man, look at you. u are a member for 1 or 2 months now, havent made almost any post, and u want to tell me what to do? go away man, start your own forum!

anyway, this thread is meant to reveal the trackname (or other/more trackinfo) on this ID, thats what its all about ....
