Lucid Strings Aka Dj Sars aka Acid Theory Aka Harmonic Dreams Aka Tripping Starfish aka digitally rooted.

Reason: setting a standard for production invoation never really seen by many producers.

now for a real nonimation james holden. james holden has to be one of the most brillant producers however some fo the most brilliant producers to combine would ahve to be the making of hybird. who alone show true innovation to the scene.

The only ones who kept their kewlness intact after squeezing through the portal into poopy commercialism!)

I think Talla 2XLC should also be on the list. This guy has been around for at least 20 years, as a DJ and producer. I really enjoy his productions with early German techno groups like Moskwa TV, Microchip League, Robotiko Rejekto, Pluuto, Two of China to his elctro/industrial band Bigod 20.

Well I was surely going to put one of the Belville Three. I think they all are pretty much equal in production quality for their tracks. I picked Saunderson because he makes more fun sounding tracks, something different from a lot of other Detroit guys in the first and second generation who take things too seriously sometimes. I would put all three but it just seems a little...cliched.

Now how could I have forgotten him! Just listen to Riot In Lagos! Hard to believe it was released in '80! 1980!

Kraftwerk
-well, they started it all didn't they!

BT
-whether you like him or not, you gotta respect the guy and recognise his abilities. He is consistenty coming out with quality, not afraid to experiment in his styles and the fact he pulls off most of his 'experiments' shows just how good the guy actually is. And recently he's shown his production talents outside of EDM.

The Prodigy
-Probably no other EDM group is as well known. For many years have been at the forefront of the scene, always pushing the boundaries. Pretty much everyone likes at least one Prodigy track.

Chicane
-Apart from one track (Don't Give Up), the man is all gold. Another EDM producer with broad appeal.

Kraftwerk and Jean-Jacques Perry deserve to be mentioned, as they are the pioneers of electronic music.
