Who wrote history? Who devised what should be taught? ITs been a consistent pattern. You know that yourself.

It was only until university until it was mentioned that hundreds of chinese immigrants were killed building the national railway. All i remember were the "forefathers" who built it.

No recognition is given, much is left out. North American history was written and taught by white people. The effect is still ongoing.

Black history isnt even in the curriculum. Its more of an event during the last week of february.
