as fray says its not as easy as that, in photoshop there is a tool called the "magic wand" and what is does it selects all of that colour, so if u had a black banground with a white star, and u used the magic wand on the black, it would select it all but miss out the star, u need to find this tool in whatever program u are using and select the white in ur avatar, and then find the menu where u can "inverse" the selection, which will move it all from the white to the lion and miss out all the white, and then copy that and paste it onto whatever u want, thats the theory, depends on if ur art program wants to play cricket or not
