well the liberals have lost that connection now. I doubt they will get any seats in quebec after this corruption. I give credit to the french for at least they take action when they feel they have been wronged.

There are three houses on the street next to mine with martha hall findlay election signs from last year on their lawns and they have a sash across it that says BELINDA BETRAYED US. I think there are a lot of Liberals here and across the country who have been fucked over by this as well.

It may be ethically wrong but I doubt there was much information obtained that the liberals or any other party doesn't already know. If a hockey player askes to be traded does that mean he should no longer attend games and practices as he may speak of strategies to other teams?

This is one of the big problems I have now with the Conservative Party. You are right when you say most people vote for the party, yet the new Conservative Party supports referendums, free votes in parliment on "moral" issues. You can't have it both ways.

I wouldn't call her left wing, I think the term you are looking for is Red Tory, and yes I do think the Conservative Party lacks any true Red Tories (fiscally right wing, morally central). Despite everything that is coming out about the Liberals a Harper led Conservative Party will never form a majority government in Cananda, they would be hard pressed to form a minority government. Give me John Tory, Mike Harris and I'll happily vote for the Conservative party again - but not when the Reform/Conservative Alliance is in control of that party.
