Ableton Live is the music-production solution that allows you to spontaneously compose, record, remix, improvise and edit your musical ideas. Live brings your acoustic, electronic and virtual instruments, as well as your digital audio recordings, together in a single interface with unparalleled ease of use. In the end, Live lets you focus on what really matters: your music.

From Sketch to Composition. Live's specialty is composition by improvisation. Record musical ideas, combine or create new songs, and compose on the fly. Live captures your every move for later refinement and editing.

The Musical Hub. Come together, right now. Live offers complete multitrack recording and editing for any acoustic source, hardware synthesizer or software instrument.

Easy MIDI. Yes, MIDI can be fun and easy. Drop a software instrument in a track and play. Drag and drop MIDI and audio effects, layer synths, and record MIDI as audio.

Pattern Mode. Your laptop is about to turn into a groove box. Live puts an arsenal of groove-making tools at your fingertips.

Mix and Remix. Instantly combine jazz with house with hip hop with soul... Live synchronizes it all in real time. This year, 58 international magazines voted Live as the best DJ tool on the market.

On-the-Spot Sound Design. Perform real-time sonic surgery on your sounds. Draw melodies, rhythms and effects changes onto loops and samples while they play.

Hands-on Control. Liberate yourself from the mouse. Play your sequencer like an instrument on stage or in the studio.

Just a list, taken from the actual site. It'd be a lot easier if you actually got off of your ass and looked it up.

on disc 1 is there suppose to be a Outta My Mind (House Mix) following the Outta My Mind (Breaks Mix)? because theres 16 tracks on the CD and on mine there show 15 on the case and the titles don't match the songs after track 9.

is this happening to anyone else or did i just get a bunk cd case?

PS: frickin awesome CD james.

Your assumption is correct. Check the booklet. The correct tracklisting is in there.

it's good to be different and use various tools to mix but music wise it all sounds like a fuckin computer game soundtrack to me, I've seen James live he puts on a good show but still, I get excited for 5 seconds in the beginning of each track on that album that's it I like the jumpy funky tech bass lines whatever you wanna call it but still it just doesn't take me anywhere

hahahhahha actually I'm in Taiwan and I purchased the CD at some night market cd shop. Turns out some company produces these cds in Taiwan and that is why its so cheap. Some imports however like the GU series are about 30 bucks.

GOod thing about Taiwan is there is no sales tax so Utilities for 300 NT (~ $10 USD) is an awesome deal

Hey James,

All I can say after your weekend in Hungary is that you are amazing...the uniqueness and the freshness of your music just gets everyone going...

And since this is a CD review, I have to add is that the same goes for your CD - but that was not a surprise at all. Keep it going buddy!!
