i wouldn't even attempt to compare it with his older, more critically acclaimed stuff. it isn't an intricately inspired musical masterpiece... it's a simple happy disposable club track, which works (or at least has done on the two occasions i've heard him play it out). i'd agree that the production on it is rather poor.. but on the big system, like i say, it works

and i like FAA

You are probably one of the biggest elitists on these boards and it sickens me. I can't stand your blind and ignorant logic most of the time...

i'd disagree... some of his put-downs leave my eyes streaming with laughter, much needed light relief from most of the crap in this forum

i think some people just need to realise that saying "it's shit" or "it sucks" is merely a way of expressing distaste, and dismiss it more often instead of arguing with it. take a chill pill & all that. if you like it that much, then you'll *know* they're in the wrong when you lie back & play the tune to yourself/hear it played out in a club and embrace how amazing it feels to you. if something can do that then it can't be objectively shit, if you ask me

i found the interaction between mikey and the other character to be quite amusing

imo paul has produced several tracks better than for an angel
though its also my opinion that over the past few years hes seriously gone downhill in production terms, crush being the only thing that comes to mind, that i like, in at least the past 3 years

have only heard the roth and deep dish mixes of this tune
i think they're ok, nothing special, nothing horrible
just have to be in the right mood for them

I don't mind this track at all, the Original Mix isn't that great but the Deep Dish mix is pretty amazing, and the Martin Roth version is damn good too.

Doesn't the Martin Roth mix have that little "For an Angel" piano bit in it, or am I thinking of something else entirely?
