Came in about 12. By then, Marc Oliver was well into his set, and what a WICKED set it was! One huge Trance track after another. Hell, they were Trance ANTHEMS. If there is one regret that I have about the whole night, it was that we should have came in earlier to catch more of his set.

Fucking Above & Beyond. Holy shit these guys were just spectacular. Man, they dropped sooo many awesome choons I started losing track of them all. Usually, I'll remember a few outstanding tracks from the set, but not this time. This time, every damn track was outstanding - I'm not even gonna try to list all the goodness that they dropped. It was pure, PROPER Trance. The way God intended it to be - no progressive, no experimental stuff, only the best of the best. The whole set just flowed amazingly - even if there was a track that I never heard of before, it would take me all of 2 seconds to get completely lost in the melody. The English language fails to describe how amazing their set was. We need some fucking advanced alien language or somethin'.

And that ice machine. Was that one helluva relief or what? Usually they only do a bit of it, but they just went craazy with that mist, and I wholeheartedly thank the Guvernment crew for that. There's nothing like the sensation of being cooled down 10 degrees in a second, not being able to see even your own hands because of all the mist; just you and the awesome music - kinda like having the whole club to yourself.

Speaking of which, so many Asians! At one point I remember I looked around and all I could see was Asian people; they filled like 90% of the club! And it wasn't 20-something cute Asian girls, it was all mom-and-dad Asians. Kinda nice to see them still having a life well into their thirties, but then again, kinda weird as well.

And yes, I saw those six-packs of Coronas as well. I remember seeing a guy carrying it from what seemed to be the patio, so maybe they somehow smuggled them in from there? Dunno.

Oliver was wicked at warming the crowd up, even better than a lot of his house nights IMO.

Above and Beyond were a lot better than I expected to. Tried with a few others to have them play my song (Love Theme Dusk) but to no avail. It was still an awesome night though. I burnt myself out dancing so badly that by 7am I had a minor migraine.

When Mark dropped Yves Deruyter - Back To Earth I freaked , I was also happy that he played both the original and Rank 1 mixes of Lyteo .
