great night
hello, i am finally able to post, i hate the internet at my house.
i have read the reviews here and i agree with some of them. for me this set was a good one and i enjoyed it. but if i for example comepare it to the one in jax and the one in ultra this year, i would say that it didn't surpass it, i really didn't like some of the stuff he played, like that dark beat remix. it was a very good intro, then i didn't really get into it like in the next hr, then i was into it for like 40 min and the sound goes off, so that f it up for me. i got hyped towards the end, but then it kind of died out. but for me the highlights of this set was when he played wundervoll, i was right next to nfekted (like always) and as soon as we heard it we went crazy, i almost punched him. i just went crazy. then as that was finishing, i tell him, bro he better play asleep by day, and his like man he is not going to play it, at that moment i really believed him, because last time i told him that was at ultra and he was right that time, pvd didn't play it. so i said to myself, i have to do something about it, so that at least there is a chance he does play it. so i go over to the bar and i get a napkin and write the name out on it, i go to the front and i just hold it up, then Matthias grabs it and he holds it up, which i am really glad he did (thanxs) him being taller and all. so pvd finally looks at it, which i couldn't believe, and then gives a smile, right there and then i knew he was going to play it. afterwards i started thinking about it and though that i shouldn't have done that, almost like intruding or disrespecting the set, but i am glad i did it because if i wouldn't have, i probably never heard asleep by day in a club environment and coming from pvd. so i finally heard it and it was unbelievable, at least for me, it was one of the best experiences i have had with pvd. one person i talked to in the club said a word that i consider an accurate description of the set IMO, it was a little "light" he said. all in all it was a good set and a great night and experience for me.
i am also glad to have met so many TAs and put names and faces together: mdamon (which i also hanged out with at CG), ambs, MeLLyMeL, DarkAngel (which i though it was a girl), arturob, LiquidX, Matthias (thanxs for the napkin lift), many others which i got introduced by mdamon (thanx) but i kind of don't remember, not good with names.
anyways it was a great night, very glad to have gone.
