There are no "Brits". Britain is the whole of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

What if your mom is from Wales, and your dad from England, and your moms parents are Scottish and your dad's parents are from Northern Ireland?

You would be british just the same as if both your parents were welsh. Your nationality however i have no idea what it would be, similar case to yours i think

Having a choice out of the four, you would of course choose to be from Northern Ireland

i am vietnamese by blood (both parents are vietnamese) but i was born and bred in England.

Nationality-wise I would state that i'm British, but if anyone asks of my ethnic background then i'm vietnamese, i'm hardly your typical anglo-saxon lol

and i have a relatively posh english accent, i'm no cockney cos i'm from london

i haven't met that many people from England so i can't really make a valid opinion of the country based on little information/experience... the extent of my knowledge of England comes from movies/TV, books (Layer Cake was especially fun to read, trying to figure out all the slang), and interviews with DJs. i'm just a sheltered Wisco girl, hahah... but i'd love to visit England and many more places in Europe. i love learning about other cultures.

as for the British accent, i never really cared for it... i find myself more attracted to Armenian/Iranian/Turkish/middle eastern accents for some reason.
