The last couple of times I saw Armin ..he had nothing on Blank and Jones and NU-NRG....they killed him...i mean he played a great set and all but it was very predictable...no jaw dropping tracks or killer buildups, jsut a nice an easy ASOT type of set. I pretty much guessed at most of the tracks that i thought he would play and some of them he even mixed the same way as in previous sets. I'd go see someone like Rank 1, or Markus Schulz, or Above and Beyond over Armin any day

Of course i still LOVE Armin..don't get me wrong here ppl, his productions are fantastic! But I love the element of surprise that not so mainstream DJ's bring to the scene

I don't see the big deal with this. Imagine I was going to see Billy Joel and for some reason he has some mediocre pre pianist and singer. I wouldn't want that man to sing songs that Billy Joel is going to perform later. Don't blow it out of proportion. You can't hate just because you may not like the artists productions.

i'm the opposite... armin killed it last time i saw him :P it was surprising now i think about it because the majority of his stuff wasn't released on armada or sub labels.... not into his production atm though...

it's more everyone's surprised by this... all anyone's asking for is some common sense...
