I know, man. And I'm sorry for coming off like a jerk, but it seemed like that was one of the only ways to get some people's attention. I think it worked, though as I've had to clean out my PM box twice in the last two days and it looked to be about a 4/3 ratio of positive to negative responses. Killing people with kindness has never gotten me even close to that same level of feedback.

And hey, at least I pursuaded some of you to think about something that you would have otherwise been fully or partially oblivious to. Considering that was my initial goal, I'm quite happy with the results.

Doesn't it suck that all of your years of studying the government and language won't do anything (except allow you to argue with people on this board), while me and my just-enough-to-get-by knowledge of politics have a good chance to make a difference, because business holds so much power? I know you enjoy arguing, and using big words, and making yourself feel important, and thinking that your debates will spur some huge movement in society. Money and power sadly rule this country, and even more sadly, i doubt you will ever have either.

This will be my only post in this thread. I simply felt someone needed to put you in your place.
