but herein lies the problem with this system. Red flag, all those quick guys who were on flyers don't have their laps counted. When they restart the session with the remaining time, those guys have to warm up again, so they may only have time for one fast lap hence disadvantaging them due to another drivers error

Can't say i'm happy at all with MS in pole, would gladly made him switch places with Raikkonen (how more unlucky can he be?!). However very nice to see Massa, Button and Alonso very close, everything seems to point to a close season. Strange perfomance by Barrichello and especially Fisichella, i don't believe for a second the italian is really that much slower than Alonso. He must surely have fucked up the last flying lap.
The new qualy format is almost excellent, if they'd drop the fuel restrictions on the last part it'd be perfect. Just make fuel for qualy and race completely independent.

i don't mind MS being on pole, especially considering he did not blow the competition away. we're in for an interesting race i think..
