I enjoyed the thrillseekers show. It was nice to see more people out ha ha.
One thing really pissed me off though. The music was at a good level for most of the night, but for the last half an hour or so, it was WAAAAAAAAAY TO LOUD. I don't wanna be deaf by the time I'm 50 ><. Please be careful about this guys. The way cyber is set up, you can't go farther away to escape the sound, every part of the club has equal volume. If you want regular attendance for people, this should be fixed. (The Saturday before, the volume was fine in the club).

I also got to meet some fellow trance addicts for the first time. I got to meet Chris, Mirka (I recognized the crackhead dance, and Angelo. They are all very nice people.

Angelo was kind of funny though. The first time we met, I introduced myself, but he wouldn't tell me his name. The second time, he came up to me and scared a girl off of my lap, started asking me how we could get the gay crowd out. I mentioned something about how there's already a problem between celebrities and Odyssey. If one club is full on a night, the other is empty. There might not be that many gay people to go around. Anyways, after I'd said this, he looked disappointed and started ignoring me lol.

And finally, I still can't understand. Why is everyone always facing the DJ on the dance floor?! There's almost no interaction between people on the floor. It feels so impersonal. This is way different than when I've been to house nights in other clubs. Is this typical of the trance scene?

Maybe I will see you all again this Saturday, it's currently a tossup between cyber and the Odyssey for me. I'll let someone help me decide

Ian

DJ worship must END. Read the damn sig people and click
on it to read the RULES. Personally, I hit the floor to
get in a VIBE with all yall, which is damn near IMPOSSIBLE
in Vancouver....

the thrillseekers show was awsome.. i enjoyed it a lot.. i was curious on normal nights if there's a dress code because i don't match trance with black shoes or whatnot.. you know what i mean... as long as ur dressed decent it's fine. hit me back on that.. thanks

as far as i know, so long as you're not wearing track pants, you're fine. cause even the sportiest white runners can look dressy if you wear them right
