Pareez - where were you?! Rog and I were lookin for ya all night..lol
What a great night! Got there around 11:15 - line moved really fast, we were inside in less than 10 minutes. As soon as we got in I noticed the sound was right on! What a relief - I wouldnt be able to bear another night with sound like last year.
Coatcheck was ridiculous, spent a good 30 mins there. A suggestion to help things move quicker would have been to have people pay as they enter the coatcheck room, so the girls can just take your coats and be done with it.. instead of fumble with money.
We made our way to the back near the washrooms, right beside the stage and found a great open space to park ourselves for the night. Must have been the gino section because I nearly had my eye poked out by one guys spiky hair. We assumed Tiesto would be spinning from the booth since thats where Sean Miller was already... saw the ISOS5 curtain, but didnt think anything of it. Soon enough we saw Tiesto setting up behind the curtain, and knew as soon as people figured out he'd be on stage we'd lose our open space pretty quickly. Sure enough, the set started with a bang and everyone piled in and it was so unbearable (think, Tiesto @ Guv June/04) so we moved further back. LOVED the lighting set up! BIG props to that - totally kept me pumped even from the back of the club. Was a little more packed than last year, might have been because the patio was pretty much out of commission cuz of the weather. I hoped it would be less crowded because of the ticket prices. Guess not! :P
Spent a total of $7 on a redbull, and was sober the entire night.. I dont think I've ever been so energetic for a set in years. Not a huge fan of Tiesto to begin with, but MAN did he ever deliver an amazing set. Totally not what I expected.. HARD - HARD - and then HARDER.. I loved the encore - what track was that??
Honorable mentions to IllNada - saw you bustin crazy moves from a distance. Haven't met you yet but from what I've read here there was no question it was you! How you can keep up like that in heels I have no idea - I was dying in my flat shoes :P
Left the club right after Tiesto was finished around 5:15 am, my feet couldnt take anymore - saw the beautiful skyline, wish i had a camera with me.
All in all, awesome night
Venue = 9/10 - Loved the lights/setup, but spent over 20 mins in line for the washroom. not cool.
Crowd = 5/10 - Pushy bastards, DIE
Set = 10/10 - LOVED IT!

Mind Blowing!
Finally, i got to see tiesto!! missed him twice in T.O and once in Quebec city, so i just redeemed myself!!
This was also my first time at the docks --> gotta say, this place is tight, crazy lighting, loved the arms goin up and down. Sound was great, not too loud...unlike soundbar, where the sound would rise and rise as the nite goes by to an unbearable point (system still rocked my socks!).
The ladies were simply gorgeous!! I wish I could bring a few to populate the niagara region!
Tiesto set was WOW, hard to describe!! Although I felt like an idiot not recognizing many tracks....as I had not listened to ISOS 5....i had the prev. ones, but skipped this one somehow. Just grabbed it today, and sick cds!
I was pretty much sober all nite, dancin like a mofo, to the point of havin my lower back almost give on me. Thanks to the lady behind me giving me a lower back massage, it was well needed!!!
Sean Miller was pretty sick too, love it, for the part i seen.
Whoever played just after tiesto was pretty good too.
I wish there was more space to dance freely, pple walking around, pushin and all threw me off a bit, but i let the music sweep me and it was all good!!!
