i heard it pokes fun at the way NASCAR really is; if anything it is gettig a lot of good publicity in the sports world and so far no real complaints from the France family.

(red)Neckcar errr I mean Nascar should be made fun of. Why don't they mix in a right turn. Talladega Nights was pretty funny but nothing memorable. I can dumb down myself for 90 minutes to enjoy it. Like a B- for me. The kids being little bisnatches made me laugh.

The Descent was good, I liked it. I'm not a huge scary movie fan because most of them have terrible acting and stupid ass plots. And once you pay attention to the music going BLAH when a scary moment happens in order to scare you, the luster disappears a little. Nevertheless, I liked the premise and it made me claustorphobic. I definitely wasn't bored, it was really tense. I'd recommend seeing it if you remotely like scary movies. I'd give it a B.

just saw miami vice, good movie but a little shaky in the beginning with the cuts and the way it was filmed. and for u guys that have been to miami, the opening scene is shot at mansion on south beach and when they walk out the door they r on a roof top of a relly high building in downtown miami weird for those who know

yeah, Drew n i watched 'World Trade Center' on Wednesday...

It def was not your typical Oliver Stone documentary-style/conspiracy movie (altho the shots of NYC and the events that followed were very well researched and displayed). For a movie shrouded in controversy, it was actually pretty well done IMO. A lot of the movie really made me reflect on that day. It was definitely informative as it told the true story of the two police officers who were trapped in the rubble as well as the sidestories concerning their families and the rescue efforts surrounding such. Altho I thought that Oliver Stone could have focused his efforts on other events surrounding 9/11, it would have made the movie longer and I do respect his decision to keep the story focused on the police officers and what he was trying to achieve.

It was a big studio film and there could have been a LOT of embellishment done but Oliver Stone chose just to tell the story. I did left the theatre feeling very somber because of the subject matter. In a way, I am glad that I watched it because it was something we all went through and we all need to REMEMBER the importance of that day in our lives and as part of our history.

I lived through 9/11 and am reminded of it everyday, im one of the people who live in NYC and conviently moved on, I personally dont feel the need to go see any 9/11 movbie and make some hollywood studio rich off of my experience, but I do understand why p[eople want to go and I think overall its good in todays world where people forget too quick, that everyone be reminded of all our pain

so i went to my friends house last night n he has this box filled with boot-leg movies. now, im not a fan of bootleg movies for many obvious reasons but somehow my friend ended up convincing me to borrow Over The Hedge. i thought the movie would be pretty dull n boring but from his point of view "its by far the funniest cartoon movie EVER". this is what brought me to my curiousity because no movie out there is funnier then Shrek!!

what i found pretty funny though was that he [my friend] was telling me one scene from the movie where theres this squirrel, or something like that, and hes like this coke head lol...pretty interesting whats being broadcasted to the youth these days. i guess you got to start training them young nowadays.

having this said, what is your favorite cartoon movie?

thats what i was thinking when i saw madagascar an the part where the cops tranqed the lion an u see him tripping, i was like wow nice way to subtly make drugs appealing to lil kids (with all the swirly colors music etc) dont cha think ?
