Kind of a complex read. At first I was lost, but now that i'm half way through, it's starting to make sense. He goes over the same points over and over and gives diagrams and examples and it makes the concepts much easier to understand. This is a must read for people like me who are planning to become transpersonal psychologists, which is a mixture of psychology and psychotherapy, with philosophy and spirituality, particularly a thing called "integral" spirituality and psychology that Wilber was a pioneer with. Still trying to grasp it, but it is really western and eastern spirituality mixed in with psychotherapy and psychological theories, and this is what he begins to explore with this book (he wrote it at 23). Yeah i'm into this stuff...haha.
