I used to live in Halifax and the only decent club that managed to pull weekly progressive nights and bring big name DJ's like Ferry was Reflections, a gay club. And really if one really enjoys quality music he or she shouldn't care that much about the place being gay.

LOL, this is really strange but like 10 minutes ago or something you could buy tickets and everything. I bought two and even got the email confirmation and everything. Now I got back to the clubzone page and it seems you can't buy them anymore, I wonder what happend. I guess they went on sale and now back off sale really quickly.
