does anyone use Toast with their macbook?

i dont have a mac yet but i am thinking about getting a mac mini soon since its really cheap. im planning on getting the model without the superdrive. the questions i had was, if i got the mac mini and got this external dvd burner

would it work on the mac mini?

my superdrive on my macbook to me is well worth the money, burning dvds much faster then my pc does and does a better job with the compression
