It surprises you that The Dish plays a track like this? They have been playing stuff like this for quite some time now. In fact, they have been playing this particular song since June of 2005 (Live at Club New Night, Hungary 06-25-2005 is the first time to be exact) I have heard this song consistently in their sets and live shows since that time. It should be no surprise to you to hear them play this song or even include it on a GU. The entire GU21 album was dark, at times driving, and definately "trancey" progressive house. Sharam has always been the one to drop the dark, driving, and sometimes evil bangers so I am not surprised to hear this at all. It is very fitting to how he plays when he is not trying to sell records.
As for "trancey elements" coming back. I can agree with you on that. However I would say that the progressive sound in general is making a mini comeback and not simply define it as "trancey elements". The term "trancey elements" is much too vague as ones definition of it may vary greatly from anothers. I know ours has on multiple occasions.
