What my issue is is that people have connected "male vocals don't work" with the whole of electronic dance music. And then you go and say "Actually, they just don't work often in the genres I like." To say such a big musical ingrediant doesn't work within such a big musical umbrella.

Which is why I said "listen to more stuff", because to say something about all of EDM implies you've only heard a small part of it. You should really be saying "I hate male vocals in the EDM genres I prefer".
