dave clarke makes horrible horrible music.

the wolf is the only tune of his i've enjoyed. coatnoise is also good, but thats where it ends.

his latest production with dj rush is horrible. just horrible.

first of all the argument was about the best REMIXER not producer. for the best producer nobody challenges JOHANNES HEIL.

Secondly.. thinking about dave clarkes tunes... what tunes are horrible?

Red 2? The Wolf? Coatnoise? We Come One? Emerge? Pain 23? Rocco? Force?

maybe it's not the same dave clarke we are talking about

there all shite apart from the wolf and coatnoise.

he never remixed pain 23, it was just on the world service album. thats a gaetano parisio tune.

yeah you're right that was my mistake since i left the tag unchanged after downloading. it was on the 4x12" album but not remixed by him..

still red 2 is considered by many as a HUGE classic and i don't intend continuing debating..

btw.. are you one of those who consider tiesto as the best remixer?

i can't stand tiesto myself.

as you have clearly missed earlier, gabry fasano is my favourite remixer.

however i also appreciate the likes of speedy J, alexander kowalski, the advent, adam beyer, johannes heil, mark broom, GLENN WILSON(unbelievable producer), and christian varela.

i am a huge techno fan at the moment, but my knowledge still requires some input, but i know for damn sure dave "i am techno" clarke is not the best remixer.

richie hawtin, christian morgenstern, slam, liebing are also.

well that's nice to hear.. i can't beleive people consider tiesto as the best remixer!

Fasano i like his sets although i prefer those of Mauro Picotto.

I am a big fan of Johannes Heil and of the fast-emerged from the Kanzleramt Clan Alexander Kowalski.

I mean its just an opinion my friend; when dave clarke came to play here in malta last august, i prefered listening to Rino Cerrone but i love his remixes that's all.

I suggest you hear again RED

Regards the techno scene, well.. there's never a limit to how much knowledge you acquire..

thats why i like techno so much more than trance. theres just so much more variety it the scene. every day i hear of new producers or new djs that are massive in other parts of the world, but unheard of to myself.

i must say i probably would haven't of minded dave clarke had he not made certain comments about certain djs.
